Isn't it a design flaw, that the warning does not clearly state what is going to happen to a poor soul? If such a problem is happening all the time, it is a serious design flaw (or whatever else we might call it for that matter) that it is not clear at the time of installation that the entire HDD and all partitions are going to be grilled. In the few months I've been at these forums I've already seen it more than I care to and usually avoid those threads since I know how devastating it is to those people who lost so much that meant so much to them, especially emails, family pictures, and so on. If you allow it to replace windows, it takes the whole drive for linux (or mint) then. You can search these forums and discover that. There are very important documents on it that I have to keep.
